Mommy, I Can Explain…

Pillow? What pillow?

Mommy walked into the room today, looked around, and said…

“Cadie?”

Uh-oh.

I know that tone.

Now, before anybody jumps to conclusions, I would just like to point out that there were no witnesses.

Yes, the pillow was on the floor.

Yes, I happened to be standing beside it.

And yes, Mommy says it was on the couch five minutes earlier.

But does that prove anything?

I think not.

Maybe the pillow fell.

Maybe one of my sisters did it.

Maybe the pillow simply decided it wanted a change of scenery.

All I know is that I am completely innocent until proven guilty.

At least that’s how it works on television! 😂
