Well, we have some BIG news around here!

Mommy won a 2026 SASS Choice Award for Favorite Local Author!🏆💕

Yes. You read that correctly. Mommy is officially an AWARD-WINNING AUTHOR now!!

You’re welcome!! 😂

Apparently, SASS Magazine received nearly 2000 nominations and nearly 50,000 votes were cast, which sounds like a LOT of clicking for people who don’t even get a treat afterward!

Now, I should probably explain one tiny detail…

Mommy’s name was the only one allowed on her nomination. I know. I was confused too.

We all know who the real co-author is around here. Who supplies the adventures? Who provides the funny stories? Who poses for the illustrations? Who has to supervise Mommy while she works?

Exactly!

But apparently, they needed a hooman name for the nomination, so Mommy had to use hers. I decided to allow it!!

All kidding aside, I am VERY proud of my Mommy!💕 Both of us are very grateful to every single person who nominated her, voted for her, shared our posts, cheered us on, and supported our books. Mommy says we couldn’t have won without all of you. I say we couldn’t have won without all of you and me, but there’s no need to argue on such a happy occasion!!

So congratulations, Mommy! You are now an award-wining author to go along with our award-winning books!

I assume this means there will be some sort of celebration involving treats!
